Dynamo Academy srl Impresa Sociale pursues philanthropic values and promotes the sharing of real Common Good projects through a network connecting companies motivated by responsible leadership with public bodies, the third sector, universities and research institutes. In particular, Dynamo Academy operates through education, advisory and experiential learning programmes to help companies and top managers to share values to face today’s challenges, combining business results, social impact and sustainability.

Fondazione Dynamo was set up in 2003 with the mission of supporting the design and development of business organisations that address issues of social concern, such as education, health, social services and the environment, while fostering new employment. In particular, Fondazione Dynamo’s objective is to develop a “Venture Philanthropy” model creating new ways and opportunities to connect “profit and “non-profit”, two different yet interdependent worlds, by offering an alternative to public funding.

Economic, social, environmental sustainability and responsibility are features characterizing the model of industry KME pursues. Consequently, the company focuses on stakeholders’ needs resulting into a transparent and thorough communication of its activities. YAC is an organizer of design and architectural competitions for young architects and designers, recent graduates and students. YAC pursues several goals: firstly, the organizer aims to encourage design-related research by regularly providing tangible architectural and urban planning projects to inspire stakeholders and generate solutions to support and provide physical places for increasingly volatile and dynamic human activities. According to YAC, architecture is the discipline that creates and shapes the places of human action. It meets numerous and diverse needs through diversified expressions as it is the expression of the intellect and creativity of each architect. We strongly believe the architectural problem cannot be solved with a mere formal research, functionalism, the budget or the technology of the building. The solution is rather the combination of such elements according to the architect’s personality and taste. The projects YAC wishes to award are highly contemporary projects that enable temporariness and customization of the use of the architectural space.
